Upper School Parent Teacher Conferences

The Upper School faculty members look forward to visiting with parents at the parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday, November 11, and Thursday, November 12, from 3:30-7 p.m. The conferences will be held arena-style in the dining room and in the small gym.

So that all parents have the opportunity to talk with teachers on these evenings, parents are asked to limit their conferences to five minutes per teacher. Those who require a longer meeting time are asked to make an appointment with teachers.

All parents should bring a copy of their child’s grades, which will serve as a schedule of a student’s classes and teachers.

In order to have some balance of numbers, parents whose last names begin with the letters A-L should come on November 11, and those with last names beginning with the letters M-Z should come on November 12. Of course, parents may feel free to come on whichever evening is best if there are scheduling difficulties.

Some of the teachers who work part-time will be here only one evening or for only some hours of the evenings. Here is the schedule for these part-time teachers:
Marius Andahazy:   November 11 and 12: 5:15-7:00
Jane Hilger: November 11: 3:30-7:00
Lara MacLean: November 11: 3:30-7:00
Graciela Mancebo: November 11: 3:30-5:30
Randi Rexroth: November 11: 3:30-7:00
Wendy Short-Hays: November 11: 3:30-7:00
Rita Speltz: November 11: 3:30-7:00
Priscilla Van Sloun: November 11: 3:30-7:00

Please note:  Connie Parsley will not be at parent-teacher conferences since she will be attending the National Biology Teachers Conference. Please contact Mrs. Parsley by email or phone with questions or to schedule a meeting with her.

During the conferences, teachers will have a brief break for dinner according to the following schedule:

  • 5 p.m.-5:30 p.m.: Math/Computer Science, Social Studies, Religion
