Thank You for Supporting
Convent of the Visitation School
When a child attends Visitation, he or she becomes part of a community. A partnership is created between the school and its families. That partnership lasts a lifetime, as reflected in our school motto: Non Scholae, Sed Vitae; Not for School, but for Life.
As an independent school, Visitation receives no financial support from local, state or federal taxes. Because we are an independent school, we are able to design our own programs to fit the values and beliefs of our founders, the Sisters of the Visitation.
An excellent education requires funding beyond what tuition provides. Convent of the Visitation School relies on annual contributions, endowment income, and other fundraising efforts to meet operating expenses. The gift you make today ensures that we are able to sustain this mission for years to come.
The Sisters and the Board of Trustees believe that every student who gains admission to Visitation should be able to attend Visitation, regardless of their family’s financial status. This year, for the first time ever, Visitation was able to award over $1,000,000 in financial grants. This would not have been possible without the generous support of alumnae, parents, grandparents and so many others who believe in the importance of a Visitation education.
Your gifts make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students, faculty, and the entire Vis community, and help ensure that the legacy of the Visitation Sisters continues to offer “an excellent education within a Catholic environment rooted in Salesian spirituality” for generations to come.
Visitation accepts gifts by cash, check, credit card, automatic debit or stock transfer. Our secure online credit card form is here. For gifts of stock, please contact the Development Office at 651-683-1704. |
